Dar Studio is an architectural practice with a focus on heritage based in Perth, Western Australia. Our work centres around the creative possibilities that arise from working with heritage places. The practice believes this to be both environmentally sustainable and cost effective, with the best designs occurring at the intersection of old and new.
We love old buildings. An old building is not an obstacle but instead a foundation for continued action be it conservation or adaptation. Working with them is an exhilarating enterprise; adding to them, grafting, inserting, and ultimately looking after them for future generations.
