Eric Hancock completed a Bachelor of Architecture in 2004 (following earlier qualifications and work in the field of Building Design and Drafting). Eric Hancock has worked since then on the conservation of heritage buildings and places including eleven years with The National Trust of Western Australia with many substantial conservation works projects completed on significant heritage buildings. In addition to Metro and rural areas project experience includes remote locations in the Mid-West and Goldfields

Eric Hancock has also arranged and project managed twenty weeks of Conservation Skills Training & Practical Experience courses on heritage works sites for groups of trainees under supervision and guidance of skilled heritage tradespersons. This unique combination of skills training and conservation is suitable for the unemployed, Aboriginal communities and prisoners.
